Two years ago a tragic event occurred on the Virginia Tech campus. I take this moment to remember 32 lives lost.

Well this just sucks!!  I can't stand to watch another minute of the game. I love my Hokies but they did not show up for the entire game. sure, they have had moments of genuis plays but not consistently. Out of 15 BOWLS, WE HAVE ONLY WON MAYBE FOUR!!!
Well at least Virginia lost! :-)

I have absolutley laughed my butt off over the spoilers. I am sorry but the 700 page leak just seems to read like bad fanfiction. Oh and the last pictures has tape on the jacket cover. I do not know about you but I have NEVER bought any book with scotch tape on the the cover . Second of all, why are the only clear pictures of the ugly carpet scans leaks the front and back covers?????

Pray for the people at my alma mater. I cannot believe the massacre that has happened at Va. Tech.
Less than 10 months ago, a escaped prisoner killed a Montgomery County sheriffs deputy on the campus and held the campus in terror for 24 hours.  Now we have this.  

it has been forever since I last posted. For the last month, I have been going through hell. Two summers ago, I got a severe burn from the sun. About three months ago, I noticed a mole on my shoulder that was not there before. I went to have it checked on Feb 5. My doctor removed it and the pathologist report came back as melanoma. That word sent me into shock and denial all at once. I remember the doctor telling about the cancer but my mind could not wrap around the idea. Needless to say, I was sent to a plasiti surgeon to have an area about 3 inches long removed.  Pain!!!! He removed the underlying tissue and a layer of muscle.  I finally got the results back today along with the stitches out! I do not have cancer. The melanoma was only in that spot and not in the deep tissue or lymp nodes. Thanks God! I have never been so scared and relieved in one moment than I was today. Luckiiy, everything worked out for the best.

Well that just sucked for my team!  Why in the name of all that is good, did Beamer keep Glennon in the game??? He has sucked since he started. He should be the MVP player of the game for GEORGIA!!! I honestly think I could have done a better job. At least I know which team I am suppose to give the ball to! Sheesh! Since Va Tech lost Marcus Vick, we have been in desperate need of a quarterback.   Oh the good ole' days when we had Michael Vick!! Can we not catch a break?

Enough rantling. moving on..... nothing else going on. I am a boring person as of late.

There is nothing like a sick child on Christmas. Why? As of last Monday, my son, D, has had his fourth round of strep throat in 2 months, walking pneumonia ontop of the strep and now he has the stomach flu! Can't he get a break?
Santa did visit during the boughts of vomiting. I hope he doesn't  get it!  **wink wink**
Over all, we have had a very good Christmas. Hubbie got me the video iPod! Kids got almost everything they wanted which wasn't a lot surprisingly. Hubbie got his present a month ago in the form of a HD 60" TV.

Anyway, I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas and a Happy 2007!!!

I am a christian however, I am not catholic. As far as I am concerned the Da Vinci Code is just a BOOK, A fictional book. Please get over it people and move on. If you are not secure enough in your faith and theology, what kind of person are you if you cannot get past the idea other people do not believe the samething as you? Ahhhh!
Not everything in this world is a conspiracy. The word is Faith. You have your faith in something and the belief system directed from that faith. A book written 7 years ago should not effect your beliefs!

Okay finished ranting. I hope I did not offend anyone. I am just tired of hearing fanatics criticizing a fictional movie. Good grief!

What a crappy week I have had and it started last Wednesday!

As some of you know, I have been plagued by migraines since my son was born. In the past, I have been able to take medicne and they go away. That was not the case last Wednesaday! I was driving home from work when my vision went wacky; I live 5 mins from work. I got home, took meds and laid down . Needless to say, it got WORSE. Threw up the medicine and my head hurt sooo much more I thought I would pass out. My 7 year old called my mother, hubbie was working, to come up because she was scared. Long story short.
1. went to hospital
2. shot with liquid fire in the butt 3 times
3. sent home in a drug drunk
4. don't remember the night or next day
5. slept 35 hours

Do any of my LJ flist have migraines? Hubbie thinks it my be the ortho-cyclene. Nope not going off that. Everytime I have been off it I've been pregnant. It is not that I would not want or love another child but pregnancy for me was a horrible experience. Labor easy--- Preggers nightmare!

Friday-- I amazing went to work and functioned.
Saturday-- Since hubbie was working the midnight shift, the kids and I decided to go out and enjoy the week-end. We went to my mom's, cousin's and finally our neighbor's house. We got home around 4:00 and everyone seemed tired but healthy. In the time we walked into the house and up the stairs, Daniel started running a fever. He went in our family room and layed down with a blanket. Long story short, he was diagnosed Sunday with Strep and Monday with Scarlet Fever. He seems to be doing better today but still running a fever.

Do we have a black rain cloud hanging over us???? This has been the worse year for sickness!

Other news, school is almost over!! 25 days left! yeahhh!!

I am going to freeze my arse off but it will be worth it. I actually did not think I would get to go. Parents nor the in-laws wanted to babysit! I can't imagine not wanting to babysit until 2:00 AM. However, my brother and his wife offered for the kiddos to spend the night with them. So my niece and kids will have a "slumber party" at their house!! Yeah!!!
I am still going to freeze my arse off but I WILL have fun doing it!!!

What the crap happened to my team?? Who the hell showed up...The volleyball team? So glad we did not go to the game. I am so frustrated right now. I had to turn the game off!!! AHHHHHHH!!! We were so close and they self destructed!

There must be a little black cloud hanging over me this week! I was sick Monday and decided to take the day off. Glad I did. My son falls off the monkey bars at school and breaks his arm on Monday. We spent 4 1/2 hours in the ER waiting for them to tell us it IS broken and to put him in a "temporary cast". His arm looked like a spoon when you lay it down. Bleh! We still went trick or treating with his sister. He was not interested in it after everything that happened. The orthopedic Dr. put him in a cast Wed. He had to pick a color....he wanted "hokie" colors but settled for orange. So proud of my little guy, he did not cry at all even after he fell. His mother did cry when it was all over!!
I hope the next week is better!

H-O-K-I-E-S........HOKIES!!! Go Virginia Tech!!!! Sorry! We took the kids to the first home game and had a blast!! Stealth Bomber flew over. What a sight. If I saw that thing without knowing what it was, I would swear it was an alien spacecraft. Quiet as well. Life is crazy right now. Work is overlaoding my time. I am going to bed too tired to type anymore.

Well it took me 2 tries but I finally got them all right. The 13 original states threw me for a loop. The old hubbie would be proud of me because he thinks I do not know American history. I just do not like watching the damn History Channel 24/7!
